Connaissances en biologie cellulaire, biologie moléculaire, génétique et immunologie
    Compétences attestées (transversales, spécifiques) :
  • To apply basic knowledge to the analysis of research articles related to skin and mucosal immunity
  • To develop a critical awareness of knowledge in a domain and / or at the interface of several domains.
  • To identify, select and critically analyze various specialized resources to document a subject and synthesize these data for their use.
  • To communicate for training or knowledge transfer in English (oral and written).
    Programme de l'UE / Thématiques abordées :

The skin and more generally the mucous membranes, in addition to their roles as a protective barrier, play a fundamental defense role thanks to thier ability to generate controlled inflammatory responses. This function, called mucosal immune system, relies on the activity of several types of cells, some of which are resident cells in the tissue while others are recruited.

This course will provide the student with an in-depth knowledge of the cutaneous and mucosal immune system, allowing him/her to understand the problems and issues related to this theme in different pathological contexts.
