The M2 SOAC Climate is co-accredited by the Department of Physics, the Department of Chemistry and the Ecole Centrale Lyon.
The objective of the Climate pathway is to prepare students for jobs related to the quantitative evaluation of the fundamental processes involved in climate change, the associated risks and the socio-economic impacts, taking into account the infrastructures of the coastline, the continent and the overseas territories. The job pool is made up of public and private research laboratories, institutions, SMEs, as well as large reinsurance groups. Consequently, this course should provide students with an in-depth study of the physical and fluidic processes involved in the study of climate and its spatial and temporal variability, under real or laboratory conditions.
