L'alternance est au cœur de ce master, et elle est possible suivant deux modalités :

  • en alternance pour les deux années M1 et M2 (le contrat d'alternance est signée pour deux ans dans la même entreprise).
  • en alternance uniquement pour l'année de M2 après avoir réalisé le M1 sous statut étudiant classique.

Identifier une substance, ses caractéristiques et déterminer la quantité de cette substance, sont des opérations indispensables à toute problématique industrielle, environnementale, agroalimentaire, biologique, médicale, ou judiciaire… Mais pour appliquer des normes en constante évolution, pour rechercher de nouvelles méthodologies analytiques toujours plus performantes, les compétences à maîtriser doivent être de plus en plus variées et ceci dans des environnements scientifiques très divers.

Les modalités d'évaluation sont arrêtées annuellement par le Conseil d'Administration, sur proposition du Conseil des Etudes et de la Vie Universitaire.
