The goal of the course is to bring to students the basic elements that will serve as a background for project management.
The major topics in this unit are, on one hand, company knowledge and, on the other hand, introduction to project management (take in charge a project and unifying a team). It will be explained how to define functional specifications (functional analysis). The basic tools needed to build up a project step by step will be presented. Few hours will be dedicated to technological survey, particularly patent research and protection of results.
The targeted skills will be then validated through carrying out a project on a novel material with specific properties previously defined by the pedagogic team.
The overall knowledge will be brought by individuals in industry and management consultants.
