This course gives an introduction to nanoelectronics and ICTs and discusses the advances electron device technologies.
Outline of the course:
- Introduction to nanoelectronics and ICTs
- Evolution from classical CMOS to novel architectures (More Moore, More than Moore approaches)
- Elementary logic and data processing circuits - functionality and performance
- Advanced Electron Device Technologies. Emerging FET devices roadmap and optimization levers.
- Introduction to Silicon photonics. Application to on-chip optical interconnects
- 3D- Heterogeneous integration techniques and applications
- Multi level Modeling
- Emerging Memory technologies: ReRAM, FeRAM, PCRAM, MRAM
- Practicals (Clean room technology, Modelling)
