This course will enable students to understand the various methodologies for characterizing plant metabolites and more particularly to approach the characterization of biomarkers and metabolites in the light of knowledge of metabolic pathways,
- Contributions of the knowledge of primary and secondary metabolism on the interpretation of UV spectrometric data, mass spectrometry, HRMS, fragmentation, homo and heteronuclear mono and bidimensional NMR, coupled techniques (MS GC, LC HRMS, etc...)
- Integration of databases and metabolic networks in the characterization of metabolites
