To face current litterature on advanced immunology concepts and approaches
To discuss with specialist of current advances in immunology and future challenges
To have a keen view of immunology, through conceptual model study
    Programme de l'UE / Thématiques abordées :
Immunology is a highly complex system in wich are interconnected molecules, cells, organs and tissues to protect orgnisms from what can disorganised it. Thus, the immune system protects from microorganisms and tumor developpement, but also contributes to the correct functionning of most organs of the body.
The "Leading edge Immunology" course will focus on current cutting edge concepts of immunology by depicting, among others:  
Advanced Innate Immunity : presentation and discussion of the most current topics in the filed
Advanced Adaptive immunity : presentation and discussion of the most current topics in the filed
Involvement and interface of immunology in/with physiological processes
Conferences with specialists of immunological fields for deep discussion
To present historic, current and challenging aproaches for understanding immunology actors and functions in health and diseases.
