The Master’s programme in Molecular and Cellular Biology (Programme Director: Jérôme Lamartine) consists of a first year (M1 BMC, Director: Sandrine Giraud) leading to five typical M2 pathways: Cell Genetics and Pathologies (Genopath – Director: Carole Kretz), Skin Biology (Director: Jérôme Lamartine), Tissue Biology and Imaging (BioTiss – Directors: Caroline Grangeasse and Ulrich Valcourt), Infectious Diseases (Directors: Patricia Doublet and Christophe Gilbert), and Immunology, Immunopathology, and Immunotherapy (3I – Directors: Fabienne Venet and Mathias Faure).
It also includes a pathway in Genetic Counselling and Predictive Medicine, with a specific M1 and M2 (CGMP – Director: Alain Calender), as well as an international Erasmus Mundus programme, Living International Vaccinology Education, also with a dedicated M1 and M2 (LIVE – Director: Christine Delprat).
The aim of the programme is to train research professionals. Upon completing the course, all students are capable of working effectively in public or private research institutions and possess a thorough understanding of the experimental scientific approach in the fields of molecular and cellular biology.
